Santiago del Tiede is a little town central to this part of the island. We walked the main street and explored some of the architecture.
The little town hall was open so we had a look inside...
From here we started the drive to Masca which we were warned was a bit twisty....
Lots of switchbacks but fortunately we did not meet any tour busses!
We arrived in Masca and got lucky and found a parking space. Very little flat area to accommodate parking here. The town is perched on a knife edge ridges with terraced streets overlooking the valley.
We waked around the shops and stopped in a restaurant with a beautiful view for lunch.
Little clusters of homes spotted the valley.
We successfully re-navigated the road back to our apartment and had a quiet evening.
