A Day on the Beach

We are still feeling a bit "off" so decided to take it easy for another day in this beautiful little town. There is a nice promenade that runs about a km from the beach area to the Raddison Blu hotel. We did a walk the length of it looking at all of the expensive resorts.

After noon, we packed up our stuff and went to the beach to read and watch the scenery. Luckily, there was an umbrella at our apartment so we could get a bit of shade. High tide was occurring in the early afternoon so the beach was fairly crowded. The water temperature feels like about 23C so it was refreshing if you got overheated.

Sunset is at 6:15 and we decided to walk to the bar at the end of the marina break wall to have a drink and watch it set. On the way I encountered the bubble girl.

The fishermen were coming into harbour.

It was a very clear sky so not too spectacular a sunset.
